Depends, if all the cutscenes are is talking around the bar or in the briefing room, then live actors are definitly the way to go. BUt if they put in lots of scenes with major stuff happening especially one on one scenes with Nephilim, then CG might be better.
Im sorry that you had to deal with that gryph, all I can say is that I wish you wouldnt have taken it so hard or personal. I know if I got bent up whenever someone was being a jackass then Id be a pretzel by now. But those instances ARE rarer than the opposite.

Well since torpedoes dont release energy until they explode, and they are designed to go through sheilds, I dont think there would be much of a difference. Plus there would probably be a limit as to the amount of energy the shields could channel at any one time.
