    Gimle 1 help

Don't worry, you will have all the fun. For me it was only once that I did protect that Ralari... You'll tell us of the progress, won't you? :-)

    Gimle 1 help

That should do the trick, I think. Throw away one Jalthi, missile the second and engage the third with cannons... Anyway this mission is million times simpler than the one with captured Ralari you are to protect against Gratha... I was soooo pissed off with the colonel who would send only two...

    Some more historical questions

Hmm... What of the encyclopedia at www.wcnews.com? Doesn't it state that the ship is still in use in 2681 ? Oh! By the way... The encyclopedia states that the 'bolt IS NOT JUMP CAPABLE, and do you remember Rachel in WC-III?

    Some more historical questions

So... could it be possible that Morningstars would be used against BW Union? By the way, I would strongly disagree with the opinion that the 'bolt is a "junk". Isn't it the most long-lived bomber because of its non-aging design? Confeds did use it effectively against bugs, didn't they?

    Some more historical questions

It seems to me that militia Gladius was just the stripped down semi-civilian version, but of course I can be mistaken. Bandit LOAF: I am ashamed, the missile was really captured from Confed, not B.L. How could I forget?... And as for Morningstars - is it possible that Confed would use it...

    Some more historical questions

Hello to everyone, it's me again, and here are some more questions, as usual: :) 1.What was the fate of Confed Morningstar fighters? Were they put to scrap? Or used in some secret operations? 2.Is blacklance' mace missile in some way connected to Todd's tactical nuke mace?

    Confed Patrols in Privateer

Militia is stretched thin, yes. But aren't Confed forces stretched even thinner in Privateer? I mean - except the Perry system :-) And... I always wanted to answer Confed patrols asking for contraband - "Ain't your business, pal. Go smoke some cats"

    The Prophecy

So... what was the need for "THE HERO"? Why it had to be Blair? Why someone else couldn't fly that coffin? Why couldn't Blair take anyone with him? If it was supposed that all the bugs were gone - why couldn't Dekker turn the switch? And If there **were** supposed to be bugs - why an aging stuff...

    The Prophecy

Here I am, guys. Have just completed the campaign against bugs. And my WCSO experience seems to be right - there's no real good ship in WC Prophecy. "Gimme old Scim or a Hellcat!" - was my whining all the time. But whining doesn't matterm while lots of questions do. Firstly, it was given to me...

    Scimitar fans

Hey guys! We're risking to go off the topic here. Howewer nice Hornets or Raptors are, we're here to congratulate the old trusty Scim. Had you ever blown the enemy with a rapid fire while flying Hornet? Had you survived a Jalthi's full salvo? Yes, the Scim would be wounded heavily, but she'll...

    Confed Corvettes

I can not declare myself a great expert of WCU history, but I'd love to share my opinion of the subject with you. The opinion is the following: Firstly, judging from the books, corvettes in no way were 'dying', as they were actively used as patrol craft, long-range scout craft, and so on...

    BWS status

Yes, that's the question I'd love to be answered, too...

    SNES9x & Wing Commander

Intrigued by the SNES WC discussion, Mjav has SNES9x compiled and installed now. Now tryin' to fly the SNES Wing. Not too much success yet :) It's all lyrics, and just wanted to ask a question - can anyone describe SNES Wing keys? Can't make it "auto", you know :)

Which WC games had the best visual style?

It was never question of graphics. Detail level of WC2 is much higher than the WC1 one. But it is the question of looks. WC2 ships were detailed, were coloured, were everything - except their look. They didn't give me impression of space craft, at least - WC spacecraft, that's all. And the...

Which WC games had the best visual style?

As you would say so. :) Everyone has his/her opinion, so does MjavTheGray. When saw WC2 for the first time - I was shocked. To see flying toys (bright, colored kid's toys) of a spacecrft size - it was something. The storyline did its job - and I loved WC2 no less than I did love WC1. But my...

Killer Bees. What was their fate?

Any guess of where K.B. would be stationed by WC-IV time?

Which WC games had the best visual style?

Couldn't vote. Wanted to - but couldn't. There's no way I'd put WC1 with its real cool cocpits and very "wingcommander'ish" look of ships in one line with stupid "plastic models colored by colorblind maniac" of WC2/Academy. It's not about WC2 itself - it's just ugliness of the models. (IMHO)

Todd & Rosy - a sad story, indeed

Let's return to Maniac's lovelife. Who were his two wives? Any info of them?

Todd & Rosy - a sad story, indeed

And in the cartoon (I am sure of it) I saw Blair writing the letter while the Claw goes a looooong way in e hyperspace... But I agree that 'instant' is not correct word. Still - seconds in the 'classic' WC universe, and hours in the cartoon... That's the difference, people. Again - I am not...

Todd & Rosy - a sad story, indeed

I would have a complain about Academy :) The only one - but still I'd have. I'd ask about StarWar'ish hyperspace in cartoon instead of instant jump... But I will not. May it be as it is, I say
