I'd agree they were committing rather treasonous acts against the government in killing their own civilians, pilots, etc. While you might be able to try to say that the BW didn't help the situation and the BL were only the catalysts, the BW helped create the problem-I wouldn't really agree with...

    Eight Legged Freaks

My brother's all ranting about not being able to see that yet. He's some big horror movie fan. Hearing you guys say that it's terrible will be good news for him, the worse the horror movie, the more he likes it.

    Favorite Game System

Oh man, that really isn't fair. I loved almost every gaming system. (Although I have to agree with LOAF the 3DO was amazing!) I'll try to come back and vote when computers is up-and people have had some time to talk about it. I'd have to say I'd be leaning towards computers now-or maybe the SNES.

    What missiles do you prefer?

I'd tend to agree, ImRecs are the best, unless I'm against capships-then I think I might need a torp or two. :)

I'd tend to agree that attempting to make the majority have the will of the minority is indeed wrong-and don't get me wrong, I can see your point in trying to say that they were "evil" or "wrong." And I also agree that they did more harm than good. But like I said, just because I don't agree...

Your being too stubborn to see anything but the result of their actions, rather than the beliefs that created those actions. They believed that Confed would become better, stronger, with genetically "perfect" people, with the BL as their ultimate spearhead of the military. Now, while a lot of...

    Neverwinter Nights Comparisons

Being a crazy nut D&D player, I'll tell you right now they didn't make this game for the first person story. (Obviously) The Aurora toolset is the reason for the game, as it's something every D&D player has wanted since he was a newbie to the game. When this game was still in development, I...

Ladiesman is right. Just because you don't agree with their concept of how to make things better, doesn't mean they weren't trying to make things better. Just like the method you would use might be wrong to them-but you are trying to improve things.

Which of These Terran Governments would you join in 2681?

juniors right, Japanese pilots weren't in there because of dishonor. They were volunteers who decided that it would bring higher honor upon themselves/their family than "regular fighting." It was purely voluntary, and, of course, rather ineffective.

    Cockpit or no cockpit?

I've always been more with the, "want a cockpit" view too. Maybe it just makes me fly better because I feel like I'm there-but I swear it improves my flying! (Which is already amazing, so I tell ya-I can be a badass. :D )

    Pet

Damn all of you. *Shakes fist* I've been trying to get a cat forever. But! I just moved, and found a friend who has a cat they have to give away-so I'm probably gonna get one soon. Until that time, I will hate and curse and despise you....just because you all have great pets and I don't. :D

    Echelon

Well, once I got the game, there was a bug that wouldn't allow you to play it. So that's kind of funny. But! Once I got the patch for that, I tried to play it-and couldn't figure out some of the buttons to make things work. (One major problem of mine was, I couldn't find which button adjusted...

    Reign Of Fire

It's a pretty good movie. Special effects are kind cool (except in one or two places), story isn't that bad, and the characters are alright. I would have liked to see a bit more of the dragons, but that's just me. :)

    Favorite Enemy Pilot

I never was real big on taking down Hobbes. He was basically my wingman 90-95% of the time, and was a damn fine pilot/friend-so even when he betrayed everyone, I still didn't like taking him down. (Not that my misgivings stopped me, however. :) )

Which of These Terran Governments would you join in 2681?

I debate between the Confederation and the UBW. Depends on how well the situation was resolved after their little quasi-war. (Assuming I was in the WC world, I'd be able to say it went far enough to go back to Confed/Confed was still trying to screw them.) But I know for a fact that I'd have...

    Favorite Enemy Pilot

I also liked taking Maniac out in WC4, now that I'm thinking about it. (Wipe that damn smugness off his face for a second!) And killing Flash-phst, I just sit there. He starts bashing on me for being slow and not moving, then when he charges-he can't avoid the missile. Too easy. And the...

I too am more into autopiloting, after all-why spend the time when you could be dustin' cats/bugs?

Like I was saying, Ladiesman-if they don't tell you, your not at fault-I'll give you that. (After all, you can't know.) But if you DO know, then there can be problems. Not whether your bound to do so, or threatened, but if your going to stand up for your principles. However, I can fully see...

(I'm glad someone's playing Devil's Advocate!) I'm still not seeing how anyone is justifying the actions of morality/failing your morality. As I've yet to see how being put in prison (or even dying!) is worse than failing your principles (after all, what's the point of living your life-if you...

Perhaps you don't understand the logic I'm putting forth. Soldiers don't have to follow orders from individual commanders. Say your commander told you to burn down a village-I somehow doubt that's coming directly from the Pentagon. As such, you don't really have to burn that village! Go...
