    Which games are you playing now?

    I'm having a blast playing the Thief series again.

    Phase Shields?

    That is incorrect. Wing 1 and 2 also use durasteel equivalents.

    What WC4 needed

    It is implied fairly strongly that Vagabond dies the same way regardless of where you defect. Look at Maniac in the scene when Eisen tells you that they lost Vagobond. It is apparent that they had that card game either way

    WC: Bridge Commander?

    I don't think that it defeats the purpose of anything. Al lot of populr franchises will enter new fields that were not originally what it was based on. If this is handled right it could work. Look at Privateer. It has nothing to do with commanding squadrons. It does not have to be in the Wing...

    Phase Shields?

    As a matter of fact, if you use the shield listings provided from Claw marks, the Wc3-Wcp era fighters would have as much (if not more)firepower as a battleship.

    How many Prophecy era fighters can a vesuvius carry?

    The Sivar is a dreadnought. The 22km long one is a dreadnaught, however.;)

    How many Prophecy era fighters can a vesuvius carry?

    To respond to a number of posts here, the Vesuvius certainly *was* an impressive ship. It was the most cutting edge carrier around when it was christened. Certainly it was impressive enough to make Tolwyn think that it would have put the "fear of God" in the Kilrathi. While it was just a vain...

    Maniac's Home of Record

    His mysterious nature was one of the things that made Vagabond an interesting character. You can only wonder what kind of guilt he went through from his participation with Severin. Or exactly what kind of adventures (so to speak) he has experienced in his wandeerings.

    Muppets in Space

    Actually, I liked the original concept art for the movie Kilrathi. They were pretty scary looking guys. I think that the CIC has some of the art under the movies section. If they could have made the Kilrathi look like that in the movie. If only they had the cash. Chris Roberts stated the his...

    Maniac's Home of Record

    I do wonder a bit about the details of Vagabonds past. His involvement with Severin, for instance. If the Wing franchise were like Star trek (or any big Sci-Fi universe) you could bet they would already have a book about Vagabonds past. Perhaps some things are better left mysteries, however.

    Fleet Action -> Kilrathi dreadnoughts

    The armada which attacked Earth in WC3 was most certainly larger than the one in Fleet Action. I do not remember the exact quote, but Thrahkath said it was the most impressive armada ever assembled, or something to that effect. Plus, 22km long ships are pretty scary.

    Maniac's Home of Record

    I do not think there ever was a Prophecy Gold guide. Used bookstores are also good places to find old stuff. Most of my Wing produts were aquired when they first came out, but I find lots of older or rarer things that I do not have at used bookstores. At least in Texas. I found two copies of...

    Fleet Action -> Kilrathi dreadnoughts

    The dreadnaught originally may have been 2200 meters instead of 22,000m. This would explain the low mass. But weather it was a typo or not, the dreadnaught is now officially 22,000 meters as of False Colors. The ship does have an unusually low mass, though. The ship is not all bulk, but it is...

    Administration policies

    Don't take the comment to seriously. But yeah, It didn't have aything to do with the topic (although I'm still appaled at the levels Star Trek Voyager went). But I guess that was unnecessary and against the purpose of the post.

    Administration policies

    One thing is clear, there are many boards worse than the CIC. Does this boards have its faults...of course. All boards have their faults. I won't comment either way about this, but as far as game related boards go there are a lot of worse ones. And at least stupid threads do get closed here. I...

    That explanation sounds pretty good and logical to me.

    Steltek

    It is a wise suggestion in the rules I would say. However,I think the main point of discussion is about why Blair was not able to escape the tower not on the issue of his current state of existence. However, I guess this is topic starting to walk a tenous line.

    Steltek

    There are a number of reasons Blair could have not rushed to escape. Maybe Blair wanted to stay behind and fight the Warlord. Blair actually was going pretty quick untill the bug came. And sometimes even the greatest heroes buy the farm. Who knows. That story Blair being evil and the origins of...

    Evil Fan Wciv Reviews!!!!!

    Actually, I thought the missions in WingIV were better than in WingIII. In Win3 the missions were essentially the same stuff over again (that is not to say that they were not fun.) And the missions of Wing3 did not fit quite as well into the story. Sometimes it seemed rather arbitrary why we...
