hmmmm i put in the "DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE RAM 16384" code as soon as i loaded it from dos this came up. Ems386 not installed-protected mode software running (the name of my sound blaster) invaild drive specification (this twice there) can't find Jemm overlay file.

i am just lost now "Also, can you dump the configuration you use for Privateer in your next message?" as in what? what i put in install or Config.SYS? the thing is that it can't find the CD in pure Dos with the message JEMM unloaded.

did you download plain old SM2? i got some problems from it too,because it has something to do with SM2 updateding flies from SM1,download the SM1&2 pack like i did,maybe that should fix your problem.

i fixed it anyway,just download the SM1&2 package which is programed better.

to me it seems the Alien Fleet in SO, expanded,some bugs escaped from kilrah,or if am wrong,confed was just snoozeing around when the bugs jumped in at proxima

the bugs, they produce ships much faster and produce themsleves faster
