Also a variant on the Raptor, a second altered version will be coming as soon as this one is done. Deathsnake had some ideas to return it to wc2-3 era. Right now armament includes 2 heavy mass drivers, 4 heavy? lasers and a stormfire, plus a rear turret. About the same size as the thud.

A decent number (300ish) point defense turrets) would probably be really bad concerning polycount (i'm hazarding a guess more than the hull itself) There's also another issue is because of the ship's shape, each turret will on average just cover one quadrant (for small short-range point...

Yes I remember mentioning the number of turrets needed to guard a 22km monster. The canon values (even with point defenses) would leave the dreadnaught extremely poorly defended (something like 1 turret per km  ) The engine itself can handle 22km no problem, I've got a frankenship...

Funny thing, way back before I was working with saga I was playing some custom mission and my fighter started launching crossbow bombers instead of missiles!! It was hilarious watching a little fighter launch a volley of massive bombers to go crashing into the target ROFLOL (there was a...

The model's tables need lots of tweaking (speed, shields, armour...etc) I've setup weapons and missile slots so they should be ok.

Well the first of Cybot's models got used. I used his model as a template and rebuilt everything more or less based on it. Like Torgo this is another texture massive model, just so much surface area. Measures in about 1.5kn tall and 3.3km diameter. There's still a few things I would like to...

Oh my... so many ships. so little time. Actually I think I'll start with the wc2 starbase. Haven't done one of these type yet, so it should be interesting...

    Capital Ships - Weapon Placement

I tried (and still am with my own stuff) to keep the texture scaling level among all the ships. For example: a warning logo is the same size on a small fighter as it is on a massive bomber. When you start dealing with such a massive size difference (compare Torgo to the clarkson) you'll need a...

Sorry they're just pictures. LOL I just noticed the last one still has the creators logo on it, "MOTHER EARTH BY WILLIAM....." Finding good pictures is kinda diificult, majority of the good images have the sun coming up over the earth which makes light rendering worthless.

The Olympia, one of Lar's designs. A frigate with a full hanger (I was aiming for a coast guard setup) Peagasus, one of Aldo's models scaled down from a fs2 destroyer to a bomber size. and the Cougar, from the earlier post
