I have started texturing and I’m getting a hard time in “connecting” the upper side texture’s lines (markings) with the underneath ones.

I have watched the flyby animation, it’s nice.
Would it be too hard to include the planet and the stars in it? And the render time, would increase much?
Poly count, uh, well it’s about 9935 so far. Is it much? I mean, I know that poly count doesn’t matter in wallpapers, but imagine I would like to do an animation with this model. Would it be excessive?

I don’t have news yet. There was a problem with the STL file and my friend asked me to send another one. But for what I’ve seen in other posts here it seems there are better (cheaper) options than this one so I guess it’s meaningless to continue.
