Quarto, I find your argument extremely interesting and well thought out, but I don't necessarily agree with you on all points... I fail to see why you think having a relative morality, as an atheist must, is somehow translated into no morality at all. Refering to your girlfriend analogy...

It's going alright, the same as usual... It takes me forever to get anything done on it since I went from freelance animator to full time. But it's still coming along nicely. Excelent! I can't wait to see something. Now hurry up and post it! :)

I'm getting a bit of a problem with this... When I enable IPX in my dosbox.conf I always get an error message saying "Network driver detected. Cannot switch to protected mode safely." every time I try to run Armada... Any ideas on how to fix this?

I for one would love to see something. Even just a preliminary work to show some kind of potential?

That's not the right Snakeir. What I'm looking for is the older Battleship type featured in the Wing Commander movie, rather than the Secret Missions carrier.

I figured I might as well bump this thread rather than starting a whole new one... I'm looking for as much Snakeir reference as possible as well, would anybody have some good material? So far I'm only working off of the physical model photo from the style guide.

I don't really see the Dragon in there at all... I think the closest resemblance to a Wing Commander ship would have to be the original Rapier II from WC1... and even that's a stretch. EDIT: Now that I actually think about it, it's not much of a stretch at all... they look exactly alike.

You do have a good point. Compared to the very large specifications for the game fighters the CF-117 was pretty small. But that doesn't make it BAD does it? I thought that the idea had great potential. A retro/futuristic fighter. It was great as a signature design, though I think that there...

It's a bit of a loaded question. Most people associate a low frame rate with anime, but I have seen many Anime pieces with a nice high frame rate and alot of North American animation with a very low one... The answer depends on which context we are talking in. The final video output will be 30...

Yes, I am a professional freelance animator. But also, yes, this project is just a personal side project that I do in my spare time. I only wish I could devote all day to this thing :)
