If you flew underneath the 'ground targets' wouldn’t they look like they were floating in the air and, therefore, no longer like ground targets?

I don’t think we ever got the see them use their ant-capship weapons. If you were flying a scimitar that got hit by antimatter guns it might make the wc1 ships seem a lot more powerful.

I’m pretty sure one of the capital ships is a midway class carrier. I don’t know about any of the other ships though.

I admit I was a little skeptical at first about Arena being a more Arcade like game than the other Wing Commanders. However the more I find out about it the better it looks. I think this will be a great game and they definitely made an effort to make it look and feel like Wing Commander.

From Finley’s description in Prophecy I got the impression that the aliens were using a natural phenomenon in their own system to help create the wormhole. If that’s true than confed wouldn’t necessarily be able to create their own wormholes no matter how much they study the alien technology.

It’s also possible that some Kilrathi just don’t have hair. I don’t think there is any reason why some of them couldn’t naturally be furless.

Considering the types of weapons available to both sides it doesn’t seem like being larger and stronger would make a whole lot of difference in that kind of situation. A human would not have much trouble killing a kilrathi using a gun and the kilrathi in the Academy episode didn’t need much...

While playing the game press escape than click on the options menu then click on Gameplay and under the section called Control Type you should be able to select to use the mouse.

This makes me wonder what would happen if 'The Aligned People' decided that humanity was worthy to join. It doesn’t seem like they would be thrilled about the idea after being invaded twice by the Nephilim.

You can already download the DVD-quality movies from this site and have them run during gameplay. It might not be a good idea to put the whole game up for download though. The people who are still selling the cd version of it might get mad.

The flak guns in Armada were great. It’s the only Wing Commander game I’ve played where the capital ships actually seemed like a threat to the fighters.
