Maybe someone can create a BF1942 mod where the Starfleet Officers get to fight Alien Nazis. Because it's such a great concept.

I personally feel that the PC version is the best, control and graphics-wise. Sega CD and SNES graphics aren't as good, plus the controls sucked (although SCD had speech). Amiga graphics weren't as good either. Super WC is just wacky. Don't know about CD32 or FM Towns, since I've never played...

Watched some of the services on webcast this afternoon...I was glad to see Margaret Thatcher there, and even though she wasn't well enough to speak in person, her pre-recorded address was very good. Sandra Day reading John Winthrop was pretty moving too.

The cliffhanger show was good on the whole, and yes, T'Pol joining Starfleet wouldn't be the end-all, but Nazis? Give me a break. Come up with some better material. I didn't realize that (didn't recognize him w/o the makeup). He gets about 5 seconds of airtime, and as soon as you hear him...

I'd agree Colonel, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had never read the book, as the movie was good in its own right. What really gets me is that the third book is almost 100 pages longer than the second and the move ends up being 20 minutes shorter. Go figure.

Tolwyn's heroics go all the way back to McAuliffe, but in particular, he was in command of the fleet responsible for defending Earth in Fleet Action. Had Earth fallen, certainly there would have been no chance to impliment Behemoth or the Temblor Bomb. edit: sorry Mekt-Hakkikt, I guess you...

This thread makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Not only did he save the world, but he saved a nation. The 1970's weren't exactly a rosy time in American history - Nam, Nixon's impeachment, oil crises, DISCO - and the American people hadn't really had a president to look up to since JFK...

Blair was convicted of treason in the losing ending, as Tolwyn was in the winning ending. Both were saviors of the Confederation. Tolwyn may well have been executed too, had he not hung himself.

Is this a Coleco emulator for the Xbox or is the software some kind of port? I'm currently running a pretty good Coleco emulator for Windows called Virtual Coleco Vision, although I miss the old joysticks with the keypad...

I liked the blue hair. For the sake of consistency, WC3 producers should have dyed Mark Hamill's hair blue. His hair should have been blue in WCA too. Yeah.
