I only see a very basic resemblance there. That said, the "two rounded wigns with stuff between them" is pretty generic, you'll probably find something similar in most sci-fi shows.

And the WCA Scimitar. Maybe there are a few different versions of the Scimitar like with the Rapier II. The WCA Scim has two lasers instead of massdrivers, so I think we can already call it a version of the standard design (and yes, Taggarts tactics Scimitar rocks :cool: )

Yeah, but most people tend just to think ship variety=more ships. My point is that the ship ammount was perfectly balanced for Privateer. You could spend ages just on upgrading the Tarsus.

Not necessarily. AFAIK people with glasses can't become fighter pilots, but about everything else. I've seen alot people with glasses in the army.

One speed display shows the speed that you've set, the other one shows the real speed(you speed changes when you turn, slide etc. and how quickly you clamp to the current set speeds- you'll notice that you ship doesn't instantly fly at the speed you've set, it needs some time to accelerate)
