that worked but the FMV are skipping

I got a new computer a few months ago which runs Windows XP. I just recently tried loading WCP gold ed. and it will not run. It worked just fine on my old computer which had Windows ME. Any suggestions?

My problem isn't related to UE yet. I was installing SO on my computer and I get the message "This application has failed to start because glide2x.dll was not found. Re-installing program may fix this problem." I've tried re-installing ten times and the same thing happens. Whats up?:confused:

I think you're right Wedge. The lasers turrets on the Tigers Claw were for capship defense as inadequate as that is, not fighter defense. Most capships in WC1 had laser turrets for just such a purpose.

Pretty much so. During WC3 and whenever you see a Kilrathi in WC4 they are using more advanced forms of missile decoys. I'm not sure about WCP Kilrathi ships. I guess I never really paided attention to it.

Laser turrets are more accurate than just flinging explosive energy blasts into space. Either way though both are inadequate to stop enemy fighters without an escort of some kind

Because the Midway has the ability to deploy an entire company of Marines. Basically it serves as a mobile base of operations for just about anything Confed needs. Just because its classified as a megacarrier doesn't necessarily mean it has a huge fighter complement.

The Indiana Jones movies aren't that "ancient". That all depends on your point of view. I really loved all three movies and Rhys-Davies does quite a job with his character. He is more of a comical figure in those movies, offering a quirky line during more dangerous situations.
