Oops, sorry about that. On closer inspection it I can see that everything is stretched. Also, if you look close enough you can see a slight graphical glitch. Horizontal black lines at the edge of the 'view screen'.

Nah, looks like only the HUD is stretched. The laser bolts look perfectly round. Makes you wonder how other games will be adapted to the PSP's aspect ratio though.

I think in BC's case most sales *do not* come from recognition of the franchise. I mean, BC gets such a bad rap that I think very few people would buy it if they knew what it was. I bought Universal Combat because it was cheap and the text on the box looked inticing, not because of recognition...
