Only if he actually delivers. Star Citizen IMHO also has the potential to seriously damage the whole scene if it fails. And right now we are still really more on the hoping side then on the success one.

Technically if you join crowdfunding you are considered an investor. Whether you make money of it or only get some goodies in return. It is not considered to be a pre ordering service. At least by KS. I think it was never brought to court so far regarding this as obviously investor vs customer...

Does autoaim help you so much? Personally I always had my problems with autoaim to the point I often actually deactivated it. It fires at the point where the enemy is rater then the point where he will be. This can be annoing for fast nimble enemies that dodge a lot.

I had a similar Keyboard bug in some WC game ages ago was (pure DOS). What fixed it (temporarly) was to klick once into the opposite direction of where I wanted to go. Just something you might want to try.

Why so much hat for DFs? Never got that. Long range missiles seem to be pretty much pointless in WC, enemies dodge them anyhow or use chaffs. So you can only shove them up their tailpipe. And then I don't care if they are guided or not. But then I am probably that guy that mastered them. :-P

What about non-wc games like Mass Effect? Do they need to be activated for each machine or would a backup work?

This. The Kor-larh is probably the worst Kilrathi ship due to the short range of its weapons. Cannot get to win with it in the usual Armada 'jousting' style of fight. On the human side I don't remember where I failed. I think somewhere in the late Wraith or early Gladius missions. Probably...

From the story perspective it would probably be coolest if SM 1.5 could be integrated into SM 2 to form a SM2.5 that starts with hunting the sivar shipyards and ends with the firekka. But that would probably be far to compicated to achieve.
