    car HUDs?

Actually, projecting it onto the windshield is kinda off, it uses the windshield as a mirror and focuses the image (I think) in the lower half of the driver's vision. That's the layman's view. You'd have to get someone that actually is involved firsthand to get a better definition.

    car HUDs?

If Car Toys is still in business (the one near me closed), they may have something. Prepare to shell out some bucks.

    Shuttle Fleet......GROUNDED. Bummer.

Columbia didn't crash because it was old. It crashed because a piece of foam struck the wing and damaged the tiles. The fleet was grounded to fix the problem of the foam coming off. Although the foam that came off of Discovery's tank didn't damage it, the problem of the foam coming off wasn't...

    Shuttle Fleet......GROUNDED. Bummer.

Painted. That's right. It's been a while. What I've been thinking lately is, what was on a Saturn V? Didn't seem to be a problem with shit flying off those. And if weight is a concern (there was something about only a couple of the shuttles were light enough to make it to the space station), how...

    I leave tomorrow!

Once upon a time, a long time ago, a former Marine recruiter entertained me with stories of recruiting in South Carolina. He said that at the time he was there, South Carolina was ranked last in the nation in education. And the county that ranked last in the state was in his area. So he was...

    Shuttle Fleet......GROUNDED. Bummer.

This is third hand or so information, but supposedly the first two shuttle launches had tanks with no foam at all on them, and the ones up to 1997 had a foam manufactured with/from/something to do with Freon (with no problems we know of) and damage to shuttles went up dramatically after 1997...

    Shuttle Fleet......GROUNDED. Bummer.

Seems the problem with crap flying off the center tank isn't fixed. Thank the EPA for not allowing the Freon manufactured foam from pre- 97.

    Guns? What are your feelings?

There are 668 examples in California of armed citizens giving the bad guys what they deserve. You can search any state, and get pages of the same thing. http://www.nraila.org/ArmedCitizen/default.aspx

    Guns? What are your feelings?

Absolutely. Lotsa ICBMs controlled by the Soviet Union, threatening the free world was a very bad thing. Thousands of ICBMs controlled by the United States, deterring the Soviet Union from using theirs, was, and still is, a very good thing. Interesting note: Seems the anti-gun types always...

    Guns? What are your feelings?

A gun is a tool. It is morally neutral. In the hands of a good person, it is a good thing. In the hands of a bad person, it is a bad thing. If someone decides to pursue a criminal life, and gets snuffed out by someone defending his good life against the bad guy, too bad. If they had not pursued...

Goodbye Scotty, may you rest among the stars.....

Yep, "Scotty" will be missed. But I'll mourn more the passing of the hero James Doohan, who landed on Juno beach June 6th, 1944. He got shot up pretty good, lost his right middle finger, and his silver cigartte case stopped the bullet to his chest. Yeah, those cigarettes will kill you. He...
