How many races are there in our part of the galaxy ? I had never heard of the Hari before (or I don't remember ;) ). BTW is there a map representing the "home system" of all these races (before they were slaughtered by the Kilrathi).

I think this letter was even written before Pearl Harbour. Yamamoto wrote that the japanese navy could fight for 6 months to one year. But after that, the war would be lost. (Or something like that)

No, no, that is not what I meant ! You're just not used to see movies with subtitles. In France most of the movies are dubbed in French. So most of French people don't like to see subtitled movies too.

All modern fighters are not even stable (in order to gain maneuvrability) ! But the internal computer make them "flyable". And I think that Kilrathi have better computers than ours ;)

That's mainly because american people don't like films with subtitles. I am sure you saw some french movies that were acted in English and with some american actors. Like "The Professional" and "The Messenger".

Well, I have other possibilities for you. 1 - Aliens didn't find that there was an interesting planet in the solar system. 2 - It is impossible to travel faster than light, so it is improbable that they will visit us. 3 - Civilizations collapse before having the capabilities to travel...

Well, it could help to develop new technologies. For instance computer engineering gained a lot with the Apollo program. And don't forget that every journey begins with a first step...

Re: A few points... Well I think the fight would not be equal : I do not think they have the hability to travel (and fight) in space right now. All you would have to fight with would be Kilrathi peons :D
