it's possible to edit a file and re-enable turret ai though. I did with the in game explanation that it's one of the ejected pilots I tractored in manning the turret :)

I defeated all the fighters, scanned the new ship, and destroyed it. I autopilot back to the carrier and get a mission failed message. WTH?

open the nav map (alt n I think, might be ctrl n) right click the nav point you want, then click the fly button N alone doesn't seem to cycle nav points like in other WC games

I replayed it with the banshee and only used lasers until I got to the station then switched to the stormfire as in one of the failed attempts i did save the station the first time and learned that it reloads you after you save it, so having the stormfire was then worth it since it got reloaded...

the U key will target cargo, then F9 will work. I don't think F9 will work with ships as the target From what I can tell the cargo has to be pretty much straight ahead for the U key to target it. It can be far away, but needs to be close to center in the radar
