WC4 is my fave out of the lot. Great plot, engaging storyline, and awesome fighters. Also, the controls are alot easier than WC3's.

I only take Maniac on my wing if I have no choice. I prefer Vagabond, Catscratch, Hawk, Excel, and Panther.

Yeah, but Maniac is a real good pilot, despite his "to hell with the regs" attitude.

That's the only thing I didn't like about the Wing Commander games. Two of my best friends are also real good flight sim pilots, and I'd like to see how their skills compate to mine in an Excalibur, T-bolt, Dragon, Bearcat, or Avenger.

I like how Maniac starts hitting on that gal on the Victory's bridge before Blair walks in, and Blair says "Well, I guess you had more pressing manuevers to undertake, Maniac." :D

Same here. I like being able to choose my fighter and it's weapon loadout.

I really liked the Vindicator, both for it's looks, and the way it handled.

If you ever see it, pick it up. It's not one of those games that shames the anime on which it's based. It really lives up to it's namesake.
