Not entirely accurate. Windows 95/98(SE) do contain a pure DOS. MS-DOS 7.0 and 7.1 respectively. These dosses(?) are no less DOS than MS-DOS 6 was. They can be booted on their own, don't need any part of Windows to run. Windows just doesn't bring all the old DOS utils anymore, but the DOS is...

I used to have an old Joystick, which wasn't very good (very bad actually). And my brother broke the vertical axis resistance playing Tie Fighter. The conclusion: games like this are bad for your stick! :rolleyes:

Well, after letting WC rest for a while to do exams, I'm now continuing where I left off in SM2. My next stop is protecting Ralgha's ship (5th mission). So I'll be in for some tough fights... For the record, this is my first time playing SM2. And I found SM1 hard as hell. How does SM2 compare...

The one that made the biggest impression on me was probably the scene where Tolwyn addresses the Black Lance in WC4. I remember the first time I saw that. I of course already suspected Tolwyn was behind it but still... And like Raptor said, the look of disbelief on Blair's face was historical...

At least that's a hell of a lot more effective than my tactic. I just shoot them and then I die. :D I like wingmen around me because they draw fire away from me. Also sometimes they are useful! :rolleyes: My dogfighting is usually based on making sideway passes, picking on the big groups...

Not that any of the fighters actually look that big in the games.
