That happens to me, for some reason, with more modern games... The on-CD version of a game works fine, but when I "patch" it to the latest level, it suddenly will NOT start up, period, at all... *sigh*

All I would offer here is: flawed characters are much easier to believe in and empathize with... Blair is no exception...by the time he gets to WC3, he's been around and around and around the block in the Kilrathi War and that war-weariness/cynicism shows through. You can see the better side...

Loaf, Did the origin guys leave it ambiguous on pupose? I personally figure that it never could have ended well: If the tower blows up, he dies.... if the tower fails and decompresses, he dies... if the tower falls through to the other side, you either have the two previous paths...

Yeah, the flight dynamics are kinda funky...to be fair, that's compared to more modern flight sims! One cool thing was having a semi-strategic campaign game...I was so thrilled when I got the lucasarts splash screen and it started up!!! :)
