if you use ctrl-F11 and ctrl-F12 (I think), you can slow down and speed up the "cpu" in dosbox while it is running. if WC is too fast, take it down a bit
Indeed, I found the Bearcat to be more fun than the Lance. The relative dearth (IIRC) of missiles was a killer in WC4, but the thing was fast, so damn maneuverable, and packed a helluva punch with the four Tachs!
Oh I just thought of something else...
SOMETIMES..not always, but SOMETIMES...
I had problems in WC2 with the lock-on reticule appearing outside the view area.
The way you know a torp is locking on, aside from the sound, is the red target reticule appears some distance away from the...
Adding to catnip's statement:
You are doing the right thing...but you might be missing something small. Firstly, double check you are "locked on" a Cap Ship (is this the 'rescue the eject pod before the Ralatha can get it' mission?)...are you CERTAIN you have torpedoes selected? (some...
Oh I'm with you there, at least in the not understanding why I auto-fail. If you fly back to the Lexington, you discover that there are cloaked avengers that blow her up... I flew back there, destroyed the avengers when I saw them, and the Lex still blew sky high. At least that's my very fuzzy...

Regarding the numbered squares, they're awfully close to the runways. Could they be a place for the ready alert fighters?
What about the platforms in the back corners (one has two Ferrets on it)? Could they be elevators to a lower deck?
I was going to say something about the difference being because they're from different games, entirely...but, there's an assumption implicit to that which I can't back up.
LOAF, maybe you can answer this:
Do you know if the concept of armor value (thickness or "equivalent protection") was...
...and while those 10% were all out in ships fighting the Nephilim, who, exactly, would be making the replacement ships, spare parts, food, fuel, etc. that would be needed for the "strong" to fight the war?
Indeed...you can even see this in-game from the perspective of your choices during the confrontation on the assembly floor.
The things that really turn the tide are the revelations that Tolwyn has employed biogenetic weapons against civilian populations and is utilizing genetically enhanced...
