Yes I agree but I was talking about cases were pilot or soldier acts on his own and he makes decisions with only some small guidance from command ( maybe I am mistaken but it happens in most WC missions). In case of A - bombing raids in WWII this operation was planned step by step months...

Making a difference is what Wing Commander is all about isn`t it?;) I suppose that every Origin game of that type has something from it. And finishing WWII two years ahead of schedule is always fun either it is Pacific Strike or Panzer general:D

Well - yes but take for example Combat Flight Simulator 2 - the game was realistic and the missions were historical (roughly). One pilot can`t make a difference in such big conflict (with exception of Wing Commander :D ) And as for Panzer General - I like the game but it has no realism at all...

Game was fun to play, but not much in a way of realism, and as I recall there were some historical inaccuracies. But talks with pilots and other crew members between missions were good.
