All I can say is that I own both Freespace games and like them both lots.....sure the story isnt as involved as WC but then again what space shooter is??? But its the missions that make up the gameplay and thats where Freespace excels. I have just as much fun shooting at Shivans as I do...

Im another one with the same pain-in-the-arse movie skipping problem....the thing is ive turned off sound hardware acceleration and the problem still persists. Is there anything else i can do ?

I know its more of a technical question but I was just interested in knowing what the differences are between the engines of Prophecy and Secret ops.... The reason I ask is because I was just playing SO with the high-res patch and it really does make it look a shitload better than in its defult...

It varies between "Trauma" and "Manboy" depending on my mood. But Trauma is the one I usally use for WC and Subspace...

It worked fine for me but I have to agree with mpanty , the fonts are just a little too small.

Privateer 3 would kick ass. Still , Freelancer looks awsome despite it having nothing to do with WC.

Using guns is more fun and satisfying because they require skill to be used effectivley. Missles dont , unless they are a dumbfire , in which case they are probably even more satisfying if you hit your intended target.

Yeah I liked Vaquero and his cantina , thats why I loaded my last save-game. Im glad I did , cos I enjoyed smashing Hobbes later on with the Excal.

Yeah I went straight after him. But I quickly loaded my last save-game after I found out that one of my wingmen ( Vaquero?? ) died because of it . :(

I think everyone loved Hobbes , even after he sliced'n'diced Cobra ( she had an attitude problem anyway ). Still , it didnt stop me from kicking his furry ass when I saw him next.

Ultima 8 is another game that called you cheater ( or was it U7 ?? )

"No Regret" is probably one of my all time favorite games , in fact I think its time to kick some WEC ass again..... Another Origin masterpeice in my opinion.
