I believe the original poster was referring to the fate of planets in a star system. I doubt if Kilrah's sun(s) were of significant size and mass to eventually explode in a supernova. Supernova stars tend to blow up quickly with little time for life in the system to develop. Our sun is too small...

There's some clever shooting to make the player think there are more than 40 people in the scene where Blair lands at the Black Lance base. I hope it's not too much of a sidetrack to ask a best guess on how many of those uniforms are still around.

I know at least two or three with Prophecy: Secret Ops showing one getting destroyed by the Nephilim.

I can't see such high-end oriented joysticks getting many purchases, but I'm not the target market. I suppose if you're a flight-sim addict, such a purchase would be justified. I've not used my joystick for months, so the lower-end model I do have is useful for barely over a handful of titles.

It would be nice to see Wing Commander available for fans as downloads. Since WC1 thru WC3 all use DOS, those are the versions that would have a benefit from a configured DOSBox.

I think that's a very good job with a lot of detail put into the model. If you do another WC model, I'm sure you'll be just as successful and get good pointers from different resources.

I did not look extensively, but I found an approximate 3/4 view from the WC3 Intro. Since it's been quite some time since I looked over my videos on both my drive and YouTube, if anyone knows the cinematics well I could find the appropriate one.

I'd say the Secret Operations add-on for Prophecy. The add-on was an experiment before many people had internet speeds capable of downloading the game in a reasonable time frame.

I do recall both Maniac and Blair using Toll-win on the WC3 and WC4 videos.

The Vampire seems better in Secret Ops due to the gun weapon change. The only compliant would be the limited use for the MIRV missile. It's not a bad missile against Barracudas since they can't use decoys, but using the MIRV against anything else is a crap shoot.

The Vindicator has the Stormfire weapon, so it's simpler to deal with enemy fighters. Without the Stormfire, the Pirahna in Prophecy would be of very limited use. Using the scatter weapon in the Banshee is a bit risky since you have to be closer than the laser gun range, and the scatter weapon...

I'd say the Banshee from WC4 is a bit under-rated unless people find out about the scatter weapon.
