I remember on my Win 7 64 bit version that I needed a specific version of AC3Filter(the latest may work ok) to get the cinematics to play without issues.

Perhaps some of the reasons Privateer is popular is due to cost from other sources or rarity? I'm not sure how to take in the Ultima Underworld numbers since I believe that most people who wanted those games already have them.

Hopefully the lazily copied EULA will be eliminated and one with the actual terms will be released. If there is no movement on this from EA's side, how can people make an informed decision on whether to buy the game?

Is there a good emulator for the PC that allows using the joystick? I've seen mentions of a few of them, but there were always issues like cinematics not playing properly.

I tried this out on Windows 7, and everything works! I did have to download and install AC3Filter for the movie audio to work, but that should help with my upcoming WC4 HD project.
