Fraps is a poor program to record Prophecy with. It uses too much CPU resources, and there are better recorder programs out there. A better bet may be with Hyper Cam 2 or more likely VDSoft's Screen Recorder. IF you still want to give Fraps a try, just see what the default recorder buttons...

I believe I found out what was causing the errors. Just to be on the safe side, I updated to the latest version of Java. Testing of the chat client worked without the errors happening again.

Attempts to load using the Java client give the following error message: Startup error: java.lang. Error: Unable to load interface pixx: java.lang. Security exception: trusted loader(rest of error message can't be read) My current Java is version 6 update 26 (build 1.6.0_26-b03)

GoG has been exposed as selling software with scene cracks to bypass DRM. A LOT of the games they sell did not have DRM in the first place, so it's really an empty selling point. I have more buys from Impulse than GoG, and I don't trust Steam or GamersGate for future purchases.

When I first played WC2, the Jalkehi and Grikath both had those rear guns that tended to work well against me. In my replay, I'd say that Grathas got the most respect from me since they had good weapons and tended to take a lot of damage before getting destroyed.

There are a good number of games that I would choose if I did not already have a copy. Master of Orion 1&2, Divine Divinity, Sacred, the Realms of Arkania trilogy, the Might & Magic 6 pack, Icewind Dale, Ultima 4-6. That should keep you busy and drain your wallet surplus. :D

I'm not surprised to see Ultima along with the Wing Commander releases. Two classic franchises, although with Ultima it had a very bad final entry.
