Don't forget that it turns as well as a Ferret, that makes lining that big punch up a lot easier and dogfights are a lot less tedious than those in the Broadsword.

Have you got a source for the Swordfish being a fighter? Everything I've read indicates that it was designed for a Torpedo Bomber & Spotting role. Sure, it had some ability to deal with fighters on the way in, but you wouldn't send it up alone against other fighters. The were chopped to pieces...

I also liked the detail in the Armada views, but there was one other feature in the Armada cockpit that put it above the rest for me. The damage screen in the MFD gave you the percentage damage of your shields. After a little while those percentage points really gave you a sense of how many hits...

I think you're mis-remembering the line "She's no Concordia", which refers to the Confederation-class dreadnought.

Both ships have tractor beams and pilot/data pod retrieval abilities. That would be a handy bonus to prevent any information about the Morningstar falling into Kilrathi hands.

It's what I always remembered about the Crossbow. I was surprised to read that it matched the Ferret in the database but I don't think it's that far from the actual numbers.

Heh. I remember when I was playing that mission that there was a half dead Drakhri a billion miles from anything as the only Kilrathi fighter. All I wanted was a comm option "Don't kill it, you'll cause another wave to spawn!". Sadly, the option wasn't there and we were knee deep in fighters...

Got it working. New drivers and changing the "Extension limit" in the NVidia Control Panel to "On" did the trick.
