Well, I was sort of replying to a post about the game TIE Fighter.

So how many fleets does Confed have? And are they all the same size or does it depend on where in Confed territory? What ever the case, do they all follow the same ratio of ships [like one cruiser to one CVE to two destroyers, as in the Independence group or one cruiser to one fleet carrier to...

So do we assume that the Brack was a Venture-class or a different class? And in Fleet Action, Landriech has a Falcon-class [maybe more, I can't remember] while Confed uses corvettes to draw in IFF missiles. What class do we think those were?

Very true! There are all kinds of Imperial Ships that we dont see in the first X-wing game, like the Victory Star Destroyer, but it was there, and platforms and such, they probably werent all designed in the time gap between the two games [in our world they were, but in the Star Wars...

So are corvettes small enough to launch from a carrier? Or are they too big? So why does Confed change fighters and capships so much, but never gets new corvettes?

Good point, but I think that when the kats are coming at earth, piracy and other planets kind of dont matter.

That is quite weird, and also the undeniable fact that they fly waypoints. If you have an autopilot like that, whats the point of having a captain? Are they so cheap that they let fighters do all the work? If you need to destroy something use your ship! Not some fighters. Weird.

In the simulator of WCP, there are several missions that pit you against kitty corvettes.

Does anyone have any tactics for popping kitty corvettes in a ship that doesnt have autoslide [ie. Devastator, Tigershark, Wasp, Shrike] that isnt too risky [like trying to get to point blank range]? Also, what about Confed's corvettes? There's references to them in FA, WCP [ICIS], and WC4N...

Thousands? Um... If Confed and the Cats had thousands of destroyers and cruisers, why did the Battle of Earth have less than 200 capital ships total? And if I remember, Fleet Action said something about the Kilrathi having only about 20 heavy cruisers...

Well, to play, BOE would be most excellent, and plus it has those breaks for you to go and rearm and refuel i think it would be cool if you could play all the campaigns the Landreich did, like BOE, BOBK, and with those old fighters damn! why didnt i get intrested in WC before they all...
