The Frosty thing has to do with his father being Iceman. However, I don't believe that is his callsign, but then again, his squadron is tasked with giving a callsign.
BTW, IIRC, Japanese names are written family name first, personal last.
I was watching the episodes that I downloaded and I have found a discrepency in the Episode numberings. The site that I downloaded them from had Expendable as episode 7 and Chain of Command as episode 6. However, it seems to me that the action in Expendable happened before Chain of Command...
I have a decent joystick for the desktop at my parents home. But down here at school, it isn't compatible with my laptop. When I get some money, I need to invest in one with a USB plugin.
But they uterly fail. But then little Jimmy in his ultra cool Starfighter comes along and with uber cool weapons. With the speed double the Vampire, four times the loadout of the Devastator, and the armor and shielding of a Hades. He comes through, blows away all of the bugs and then flies to...
I don't remember the Black Lance having Excals. IIRC, the Excal wasn't put into mass production until after the Black Lance incident. But then again, this wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. :)
What I do is let Stiletto engage the enemy while I go off and look for the Jammer. I only engage the enemy when they directly attack me. As long as you don't kill off all of the enemy at the Nav Point, you won't be called back to the Midway. Like was said before, approach the spikey ones, and...
IIRC, the only new bits of technology that the Black Lance had at their disposal were Lances and the Flashpaks. All other ships that the BL used, like the Black Hellcats, were slightly upgraded Black Ops versions of the fighters used by ConFleet.
So, if that is the case, then Telep would have to go to EA to get the right to publish his book. Or would Harper Collins have to talk to Baen to get the rights? Legal bullshit sucks!!!
Time is always a big factor. I just recently began to continue my writing. I am involved in another Aces' PBM. It is a smaller scale one than HTL, but still of the same caliber. Maintaining the Vigilance occurs after WCSO and if you click on the link in my signature, you can go to the story...
I like the uniforms and flight suits of Prophecy the best. I guess I just like the darker blues. It is a good departure from the uniform that I wear for the US Air Force.
The first part of my signature is a quote that I came across when I was doing some research. I thought it was funny. The second part of my signature is the url for the Aces Maintaining the Vigilance Story Archive.
I would like to see a carrier like the Tiger's Claw, Concordia, Cerberus, or Midway. I like carriers with catapults and landing bays. This fly-through hanger bullshit sucks.
I liked WC IV because of all of the choices that you were given that could effect the game. I used to piss people off just to see how that would effect later cutscenes. WC II is a definite close second.
I like the WC I Claw the best. The Academy one looked like a cross between the WC I Claw and present day Naval Surface ship. And I thought that the WCM one just looked stupid.
I don't think that stability in space is even a factor. Maneuverability is mostly based on the way that the thrust is vectored. And for that, a computer is needed.
Well, if you think that that isn't a good deal, then maybe this one is. I traded a friend of mine my copy of Freespace for his copy of the Kilrathi Saga.
