I am wrestling with the "program halted by code" nastygram trying to run WC ARMADA and am about to tear out my remaining hair. I am trying all the DOS BOX settings Chris recomends, and it does not work I set IRQ at 7 in both the DeFend set up and also in the game install, I set IRQ at 1...

Success at last! I got the sound to work this AM by reloading the entire install, and doing the DOS BOX set up through Defend. It works great, the sound does stop once in a while for a second or two but it is great to finally hear the great soundtrack, I love it, it is very cinnematic and high...

I finally got new system up, AMD 3400, 300 GB Hdriv, 1.1 GB RAM, Geforce 6600, Audigy ZS2....anddddd Privateer 2 Deluxe....installer wont load the files, says not enough bytes available....????? when i have 275 GB free??????? Secret Ops wont start, get prompt saying: Game wont run...

That could ruin your whole day..... no WCU for me.... I have found DOS Box, the front end for it, D FEND which sounds nice as the maker says it will eliminate the need to do configs and command lines...an nice break, and also several versions of VDM Sound as there do appear to be some...
