you could possibly go into edit and make a batch file, throwing in a command called "ide" that should disable the internal cache. you have to do this thru dos. i combined it with a slow utility on WC1, in the batch file. the game runs kinda slow, but its playable

id have to say WC4 also, the (captain of the ship) feel gave you more control plus the multiple choices of the missions combined with the free actions of getting around the ship made it more realistic, but WC1 and WC2 are one of a kind and will always be my favorite

as i have mentioned before this computer is not a tower its an all in one compaq presario 425 it was made in 1994 it does not have a slot for a cd rom drive it has a scsi port so i would have to find a cd rom drive that has the scsi plug and is external they are very difficult to find

its not connected to the scsi card its a western digital caviar 400mb
