Beer smells terrible and makes your breath smell worse than it already does. Aside from the fact that it basically numbs you to the rest of the world, what is the value of beer? I will never understand it's appeal. None for me thanks, I'm driving!

That does bring up an interesting point. I bought Privateer 2 simply because I knew it was supposed to be based on the WC universe. I didn't much care for it, (please no feedback it's a personal preference) However, even though I only played it once I keep it simply to have a complete WC...

Between working two jobs, my wife, and my wing commander... Who has time for TV? And as this thread clearly points out, what's on worth watching anyway? I prefer REALITY living to REALITY programming. And to excape reality I fry some Kilrathi... What more does one need?

I played Gun-metal for X-Box. Very similar to Robotech, and I think much better graphics than the cell shaded graphics for Robotech Battlecry that I have seen. But of course the proof is in the playing so the vote's not in yet. ;)

Just give me a windows capable Privateer and I'll be happy. For at least a month or two.;)

Last time I checked the USSR did lose. One soldier with a machine gun can take out 100 with swords. Greater technology and skill will almost always win. ;)

IMREC, Some of those Kilrathi Fighters have that nasty rear turret. Who wants to get chewed up just waiting to get a HS missle lock?

I don't really think so, In WC1, Maniac has to introduce himself to Maverick as if they had never met. So they couldn't have been the fierce rivals at the Acadamey that WCATV makes them out to be.;)

I just found a Privateer type game called Terminus. Has anyone played this one? Is it worth my time and money?

Personally, I never understodd how Maniac got to be in charge of the Morningstar Prototype project. I mean the guy was a PSYCHO. We don't hand over our most sophisticated weapons to lunatics, do we?:rolleyes: I've always wondered what (or who) did Maniac do to get that squadron?:D
