At the time, the Border Worlds were part of Confed and Confed operated in the Border Worlds as well as the rest of the TC. The Border Worlds had to make do with whatever they had after they broke away from Confed. And IMHO, the BW fighters were better than their TC counterparts.

RTWC is a sequel tho. The storyline isn't the same as the original (not that the original had much of a storyline).

We're talking about the cockpit sizes vs the size of the ship. Those seem to be off, not the size of the fighter itself.

The F/A-18E/F is the Navy's equivelent of the F-15C, only with strike capability. It even looks a lot like it.

Unless you count Privateer, then it had the largest warhead and was pretty good at tracking it's targets. I thought rockets were good for taking down corvettes, or fighters when they turned and had a moment of no motion.

The Vindicator had 2 lasers and 2 tachyon cannons, BTW. Actually, I liked the Vindicator's gun arrangment.

In WCIV, you could use the Mace on any ship with a torpedo hardpoint.

Multiplayer isn't against what makes WC great. It would only enhance it. I personally would like to fly against a real person instead of dumb computer. It would also be cool to have the option to play through the game with other ppl.

You can only view Mystery if you have the Episode I DVD in your DVD-ROM.
