Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread. But is that a fact, that shields and turrets are syncronised?

Well, I got my copy of KS for mere 20 pounds, when I visited England, three years ago.

I seem to remeber something about frequency of shields, this is why torpedo has a lock time of 12 seconds, to determine the frequency of shields so it can bypass them. Could turrets use the same principle, but other way around?

Yeah, but then again, it is an easy way of boosting your kill score. I just can't belive that shooting down a Remora is worth 1 kill. That's not fair, there's no difference if you kill a Remora or Devil's Ray.

I found that ramming Remora's is as effective as shooting them down. And I don't spend my guns on something so lowly as Remora:)

It is quite good in taking out fighters. What weapons does it have? Does it appear anywhere else except in Privateer?

What about Fission Cannons? They are quite impressive... IMHO, Tachyon guns, Stormfire and Plasma gun rule. And killing a Remora with a swarmer is quite an overkill. It's more fun to ram them:D
