I am a bit late to this one, but RGO has that Wing Commander feel. I'd feel comfortable as a fan trusting Howard with it if he and his team were contracted to create a remaster of WIng 1 and 2 by EA. If it was EA internally I'd share Quarto's concerns, but it'd be out of our control.

Now that's a good question. Perhaps the bottom blades fold in flat against the main wing and they have landing skids or wheels? Or maybe they are held in racks (like tiefighters supposedly are, although they can now land on their wings in the modern stuff) I bet missiles are held in internal...

Way cool, I had the hitsquad floppy disks, that's the version that got me started on Amiga. You really needed a 1200 to get the best out it, the phrase slide show cones to mind on a 500 or a 600 like I had.
