Damn thats probably my problem. I have been recently playing with just the music, I don't seem to mind overly much, it's such an awesome game, but am I missing out on a lot?

Oh sorry I misunderstood, ive changed settings to my sound card ettings, before I did this I got that nasty D002-FFFF error. I might have to play without speech and therefore sound effects. Id rather not so if you have any other ideas I would be grateful.

Ah no it isnt playing fine. It seems to lock up any sound effects happen and then get better until another sound effect, I've narrowed this down to speech as everything runs fine when just music has been selected through install.exe

Ive fixed it with the copying of joya, thanks for that. I havn't got round to the sound options yet, but every other sound works, its almost as if my computer cant handle it, but it can since apart from the joystick problem while playing it was fine.
