One would suggest that the Admiral Blair endgame is a tragic ending. The hero has become part of the villainous organisation he fought. He has comprimised his values (ie, blowing apart Ella, etc) and thus becomes the brooding, sad figure he is in that endgame.
Personally, I favour this ending...
The problem is, every major government in the world has elements within that are just as bad as the Nazis. It sickens me that people are too blind to see the truth.
Sorry to destroy your happy little world, but every government will act like that!
I've got WC3 running now :D
Hmmmm I need to get a scratch remover for WCIV...my cd4 locks the game when one of the 'pirates' speak... :(
And I can't find someone nearby to let me burn a copy of cd4. Any suggestions?
However the events between 2667 and 2669 were of far greater import and drama than any other period I'd say. You have WC2 and SO's, plus the truce, Battle of Terra and the Destruction of Kilrah!

Yayness I bought WCIV!!!! YAY!!! (waited for over six months for someone to drop into a second hand shop with it)
With regards to the Black Lance....every government, whether 'democratic' or not, requires some sort of sinister organisation within to get things done and protect their interests.
I believe the only thing that will save WC is a change in market forces...more demand in another words. EA probably won't listen until a competitor comes up with an extremely popular space sim title and reaps massive profits from it.
Hahaha I remember that one! Was that the Alaska one where you had to kill all enemy agents whilst defending that military compound? Mini's and flamers were good for that mission :)
P2 either being set in WCU or not is a very contentious issue here. According to Origin's chat with LOAF that was posted somewhere around here, they are IN the same universe, but have no contact with OUR Confederation.
I guess an analogy would be Vulcans and Romulans being the same genetic...
Windows dos as in dos prompt? Or restart computer in DOS mode. The problem is I can't even remember my cd device driver, I haven't tinkered on my computer for a good two years. Its been through many upgrades and I can't find the driver disk for my cd drive. Its a Diamond Data 36 speed if anyone...
