    Help Needed with Priv1

I think you can increase upper memory by using the monochrome reserved area (I think thats what its called, it was in the Privateer troubleshooting guide that came with the game) That way you don't have to skip your cd drivers. Also still works in win98 in dos. I remember after I found...

WC too glossy like Star Trek?

ahhh yes....there's one thing larger than the universe itself... William Shatner's ego! However, Kirk rocked in TOS...always wins the fistfights with those evil Klingons, always gets the girl, always brave and hammy :) wow...my first post in AAAAGGES...hi guys, just thought I'd pop in...

    Secret Missions 1

For some odd reason a voice calls to me that "didn't" should be replaced by "haven't" or "have not", if you want to be grammatically correct. :) hehehehe

    Who are the Hari?

Wasting planets that have ecological systems on them (assuming that at least a few in a thousand would have), is a crime against the environment. We are only now beginning to prosecute these types of crimes. Ergo, the Hari have been committing a crime.

    Secret Missions 1

The quickest way to get out of an asteroid field IS to use afterburners and keep a straight course, only deviating for the slow moving asteroids that lumber towards you. All the others go by the wayside.

    Should Confed reactivate the Behemoths?

Then the Behemoth would have been saved, a big enough escort amassed, Kilrah destroyed and Admiral Sir Geoffrey Tolwyn made Emperor of the Known Universe and Blair his lovable circus monkey... but wait, we need Blair to be the hero right?

Frosty, for the first time in my life I actually have to agree with what you just said. It is quite shameful isn't it?

    Should Confed reactivate the Behemoths?

It seems fairly logical to me. Even though the Tiamat may be able to recharge quicker, the Behemoth 'should' have a way longer range! After all it can hit a planet a fair way away, and I'd say with 27th century computers and sensors, it should be able to pick up a ship as large as the Tiamat and...

    Jumping (The inter-system sort)

No, I was always a seize the moment kind of guy! After all you rush in... "Guards...seize that man!" God I love Tolwyn!

    Should Confed reactivate the Behemoths?

Why bother making 10000 nuclear missiles when 1000 can do the trick? There's a psychological advantage to having a bigger weapon/weapon supply than your opponent. Its good PR. In addition, the Behemoth would be the pride of the fleet. The pinnacle of a millenium of weapons research and...

Who did you *think* it was?

Re: Re: Who did you *think* it was? Some would argue (including myself) he wasn't a traitor to the Confederation in the sense of the word traitor. More a concerned but misguided leader. However, with regards to humanity on the other hand...
