    Homeland Security

Yeah, new agancy, same turf-fighting weenies in charge of it. Bigger government, more fiscal irresponsibility. So much for conservatism. BTW, the agency isn't by itself a facist entity. The methods it uses (ie: illegal search and siezure, depriving suspects of due process, racial...

    Bush and Nukes?

Somehow I do not see the widening of the gap between the upper 1% and the rest of the nation to be "prosperity." I don't think that NAFTA ad FTAA are good things for my country. While they generate massive wealth for the main stockholders of US corporations, they have cost thousands of...

    Bush and Nukes?

I'd call him conniving. He backstabbed the unions and environmentalist who put him into office. Twice. And, he was able to spin things so he's still called a "liberal." Yeah, thanks Bill, no wonder your party is in the crapper.

    Best and Worst WC ripoffs

Aside from what I refer to as teh "Dralthi factor*," none of the games are a complete ripoff. All, to one degree or another follow the basic plot of-humanity is well meaning even though we may be fighting with someone, and some unquestionably bad guys come along and try to wipe us out. Fly a...

    Homeland Security

I'm opposed to such organizations on the grounds that they are: 1) Making for a bigger, more invasive government. (I thought conservatives were against that, but oh well, this is war after-all.) 2) What do we stand for if we are willing to compromise the principles our nation was supposedly...

    Terrorist... or not...?

"It might. But how are we to know that such a strong action will not make terrorists decide against committing terrorist acts?" Well fifty years of reprisals against terrorists in Israel and the occupied territories have only led to the current Intifada. Also, I don't think we can call a...
