Good gracious those things were ugly. Still, you get my point.

    Where are You?

Hmm, I might be exaggerating about the 63 688 class subs, but I do know we built a heck of a lot of them.

    WC ground forces

Well, if Confed is anything like the good ol US, they'll be using the equipment well into 2700. Heh heh, seriously. Besides, in "Fleet Action," I think Tolwyn says that their Wildcat fighter had been in service for over 100 years. Now that's quality.

Heh heh, well, it was worth a shot :)

    Where are You?

Yup, there is a Los Angeles (688) Class, the most numerous, too (63 built). The only reason that they're named after cities is that the Navy promised to name the class and ships after the hometowns of the senators on whatever committee decides what funds the military gets and what projects...

    Game box

Sigh...I finally get myself a copy of Kilrathi Saga and I can't marvel at the pretty box. Hey Mav, if it's Vietnamese dollars you're talking about, you got it.

    Game box

Anybody know where I can get a box for Kilrathi Saga? I just got it for my collection, but it doesn't come with a box, and I want one! I'd appreciate any answers ;)

    Where are You?

Profiles? I can do that?! To tell the truth, I'd feel kinda strange looking up info about you without your consent.

    Interesting...

You know, through the movie I couldn't help but notice how Pearl Harbor was like the Kilrathi raid on McAuliffe in "Action Stations" and how the Dolittle Raid was like the Tarawa raid in "End Run." Now am I just crazy (don't answer that), or did anyone else think that too?

    Where are You?

Reading all these posts in the Chat Zone makes me wonder, where is everybody from? I'm from New York. Where are you?

    Interesting...

Are you kidding? Pearl Harbor is a GREAT MOVIE...that is, after the hour-and-a-half love story is over. I couldn't see the point of that. The critics were right, it was a hackneyed piece of cr.., er junk. Still, the rest of the movie was great and I'd recommend seeing it. They even got some...

    Interesting...

Yeah, what were we talking about in the first place? Sigh, I just took the US History AP Exam and this is bringing back the nightmares :)

That's sad, all these cutbacks are crazy. :(

No new WC game= boredom, need something to hold me over...

Anyone know where you can get working copies of the HW mods and a mod manager, none of the ones i can find work. Fortunately, Fleet Action is an exception; it works beautifully.

    True, Frosty.

    Interesting...

If you guys want high tech planes (other than WC of course), check out the Dale Brown novels. They're awesome, and they deal with almost exactly with what you're saying. Oh, and RFBurns, no disrespect intended, but military-wise, $10 mil is dirt cheap. The F-14 Tomcats cost $38 million...

    What's Better?

Well, first off, there is no Glide anymore. 3DFX is gone, Glide along with it. With the other two, OpenGL is generally better, though your refresh rates and screen brightness might be funky. Mine is, and I use the 3DFX Voodoo3 2000.

    Isn't it amazing when people...

My guess is that the people know that it takes time to get technical info and don't bother checking back for a while.
