Sometimes you can get lucky and find people selling CD's separately on eBay if you only need to replace one. Barring that the WC4 CD version isn't that expensive thankfully. As for WC1, I'd go with the already mentioned Deluxe Edition CD if you can find it at a good price.

I agree with you completely. In WC2 you had to grit your teeth and and pray sometimes and your torps got shot down way more often. It was extremely satisfying to take out a cap ship in WC2 because they were just so powerful and dangerous. The laser turrets just weren't as scary as the flack guns...

Do you have the most recent version of DosBox? Or like you said you're trying to play it from the CD ROM? The game installs directly onto your hard drive then you don't need the CD to play it.
