OK, I found myself a copy of Wing Commander4 on DVD and found the fixes here (I'm refering to THIS thread) but the fix is only for WindowsXP which I don't use. I've tried the fixes off the webpage that was provided and found the videos don't work. Either very jumpy or crashes the game totally...
