I would like to know what works best for P1 and P2 when it comes to the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. I'm using win98 and an sblive value card.

Evil Dave How in the world did you get Privateer I to run on XP? I really would be interested. You soundproblem may or may not be able to be fixed. I have used SoundFX and VDMSound and I got other dos game to run. If you have not used these two programs before, I would try using them. Rick

Hi there! I'm not really using the dos drivers, but here is the autoexec.bat and config.sys setups. Remember, I'm using a dual boot system. I really would like to get this game off the ground. The music part of the setup always reboots the system. No way out of this...... I don't know of...
