No, as far as I remember and I also checked on youtube for those retro play videos as well to confirm my memory, the friendly capships in WC1 do NOTHING to help themselves. Not only Tiger's Claw! The Exeter, the Drayman.... and whatever.... never did anything to help fend off the enemies. Crazy.

Sorry that it may be irrelevant, but I'm just trying to confirm my memory, since I played WC when it was first published. Were the friendly capships in WC1 not firing anything at all to defend themselves? I remember I was having such bad feeling that the enemy capships fired off everything...
