You could go with the marine idea, or take a whole new direction with it. Your could make an action game when the marines were still liberating worlds from the kilrathi. You could also play a surviving human on a kilrathi infested world or somethin. just a thought.

I think a new privateer game would rock. I was a big fan of the original. I also think that a border worlds/ Landreich game would be cool too. Do it like it pictures in the books; obsolete craft up against newer faster fighters. That'd be cool too.
