Its been bugging me for a while, but how does the dating system within the Wing Commander universe works? Sorry if this sounds quite stupid.

Hrm. WC3 (the kilrathi saga version) managed to work in windows 2k, after I applied that patch and set the priority to low. But at every new nav point during the game, the music fades out. Additionally, Wing Commander 1, 2 closes itself down randomly.
