If you make someone mad, keep saying comm. option 3 to them until they cool off. That doesn't always work , and sometimes takes dozens of tries. You cannot talk nice to Retros. Bartenders know where the action is.

My Jump Drive no longer displays on either my Damage Report MDF screen or in the Upgrade shop under Misc after starting RF, saving, quitting and loading that save. However, it still works and still takes upgrade space on my ship. Is this a display bug or what?

Killing the drone is the end of the Privateer storyline. If you want to continue the story where Righteous Fire, you have to visit ... some pleasure base. I can't remember where. Guess I'm no help.

That does not work in the mission that gives you the option to eject mission cargo. Any mission cargo ejected seems to instantly disappear.

I suspect that if you can win a mission like that you don't need the money. In any case, limiting the reward for a difficult mission like that to 125k or so is probably more reasonable.

I saw a mission to defend a merchant from 18 talons for something like 430k. Didn't take it cause I was trying to run brilliance :)

Try using autotracking weapon mount upgrades. They're 90kCR each, but very effective.

I accepted a mission to defend the base in Telar from a hostile capship, saved, flew out, got killed by the ship and a couple wings of fighters, quit the game, restarted and reloaded my save, flew out again and .... there's nothing out there. Only me, asteroids, the base and some jump points...

That's definately not normal. In all the ships I've flown the graphics are all there. I'm also using the Windows version. Maybe a reinstall would fix it? Hopefully someone who actually knows something will come in and help fix it too :o

That's how it's supposed to work. And you don't even have to bring up the comms menu to request clearance, either hit 0 or d when the base/ship/planet it selected and then hit d again when you're close enough. The 'requesting clearance' part can actually be skipped altogether, just fly...

How do I avoid ejecting that one unique bit of cargo along with the rest? Shift-X seems to start at the top of the list, and the first entry is not the one I want ejected...
