I actually still have the original PC that came with the game.. and the disc! :p Still ran last time I turned it on too a few years ago... sitting in a comfy clean section of my fathers garage atm.

Anyone else here play STO? I just noticed upon login in today that the new(er) icon for "Fire on my Mark" is what looks like a Dragon fighter being locked onto! That or I'm going nuts... (bottom left) Oh and long time :) been lurking, but doubt anyone remembers anyway :p

can't deny the truth, the menu scrollings suck, and X2 takes forever to get into, X3 fixes that like i said with a selection of various off persona's to choose from that could slam u into a fully loaded fighter or a large freight hauler. hell follow the main story in X3 and your first few...

ugh, yeah starforce, i swear they need to work the bugs out before they release crap like that. just like in cases with Splinter Cell 3, X3 suffers from various starforce bugs preventing it from being played on a variety home built systems and even manufactured systems alike :/

heh, the thing about X2 and 3 (never played nore knew of the first one till recently :p ) is your not stuck to the story, and every review i've read for either of them states this, and emphasises (bleh misspelled i know) this fact. the biggest thing about the 2 games is they offer the freelance...

i noticed, but only 1 sabre landed and then it just hung there :/ it may have been because i hit esc to bypass the landing movie.

the misfire bug nailed me right after launch. heh, at least its not like X2's AI that LOVES to ram you, not much shooting but lots of ramming.. (sorta fixed in the patches but it happens alot no less) and i've rarely if ever been nailed in WC 1 or 2 minus Paladin once pounded me in WC1...

first off, the mod ownz! :) its nice to be back agianst the Kilrathi a bit, now i'm finding myself replaying the old games... my only complaints gotta be, the misfire bug i read of elsewhere, doesn't seem to happen often, but i have pulled the trigger to no avail and had to completely restart...

AWSOME BLOODY FREAKEN AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it seems my joystick wasn't set as the "preferred" device in the advanced settings (i usualy have a PSX to USB device plugged in for Hockey and Emus) i can't wait to get back into the cockpit of an old school raptor :) ahhhh WC1 was always my fave...

the joystick just flat out doesn't seem to work in those games, like its not detected or something. i think it could be because its a USB joystick instead of Gameport, Win95 wasn't big on USB as i recall, but i thaught i'd ask here to see if anyone knew an answer.
