IMPORTANT: This game requires you to talk to a lot of people. It is very important to speak to everyone and everything, (unless it tries to kill you!). Most people you will need to speak to multiple times. They provide key elements in the game. If you are stuck and can't seem to do anything, start talking to people. Don't get 'hilt' happy and thrash a monster because it looks like an evil ghost or a bad goblin. There are monsters you need to converse with.

What do I do with the small blackrock gems?

Bring them to Nystul in Britannia. He will treat them. You must fuse them with the big Portal Gem on Britannia Level 5.

How do I get into the Armory in Britannia?

You must find the key by the Reaper on Britannia Level 3. The key is hidden behind some debris in the far west corner of his den.

Where are all the blackrock gems?

The first one is in the guard tower level 6. Borne has it. Just ask for it.
The second is by the Headlesses in Killorn Keep (level 2).
Number 3 is in the Ice Caverns Level 2. Look in the Southern area on a sheet of ice.
The fourth is found in Talorus level 2 in the lake of lava; in the center.
The fifth is to be found in Scintillus Academy Level 8 in the Pentagram.
The sixth is in the Pits of Carnage. Dorstag will have it; just thrash him to get it.
The seventh gem is in Praecor Loth's Tomb Level 1. Look in NW corner.
The last gem #8 is in the Ethereal Void. At the Shrine of Spirituality.
(You do not have to get them in this order.)

How do I go through that force-field in the Goblin Guard tower Level 8?

You must be wearing the Fraznium Gauntlets. You can get a pair from the Goblin Armorer on level 5. Explain to him how YOU would make the gauntlets. Talk to him again and ask him for a pair. Before you go through the force field to save Bishop you must have 2 pair of Fraznium Gauntlets. Get the other pair from the Goblin Leader Borne on level 6. Tell him you are the interrogator, then he will give you a pair.

I get into the armory in the Goblin Guard tower?

The key is found on Borne's keyring. The keyring also contains the key to get into the locked chests.

How do I open the 'massive' doors in the Ice Caverns?

There is no key for these doors. You must cast 'Open' or pick the locks.

Where is the 'Listener'?

The Listener is located on Britannia Level 4 in the secret chamber behind the lavafall (see Map item 21). You must use the dagger that Altara gave to you to kill it with. You cannot access this area until you accept the mission from Altara in Killorn Keep.

Who is the murderer in Britannia?

How do I open the dam in the Ice Caves?

Go to the maze controls. You must first get the key. Make sure the chain is up, lever is up, switch is up, and the button is off. Go into the maze and get the key. Come back to the controls. Then to get access to the locked door, pull lever down, button on, switch down. Enter maze, unlock door, pull lever for the dam.

How do I kill that big Skull in the sewers beneath Killorn Keep?

Don't worry about it. Actually you don't even have to go through this area. It is a trap that the Guardian has set up for you. To bypass it, simply extinguish the candles on the altar.

How do I reach the exit in the Scintillus Academy test level 3?

Use telekinesis to trigger the switches from a distance. You do not even have to be able to see the switch. Just stand on the pillar below the exit and start clicking on the east wall. There is a telekinesis wand near the entrance to this level (but unfortunately disappears when you leave the level).

How do I reach the exit in the Scintillus Academy test level 4?

You must first find two keys. One is located on the Northeast tower, the other on the Southeast tower. They open the two locked doors by the exit (Southeast corner).

How do I open those doors on the Scintillus Academy test level 5?

There are three switches in the west wall. To access the south door, pull all switches up. Use telekinesis or the pole provided to trigger the switches because there are pressure plates which will reset the switches if stepped on. The key will open the locked gate.

These pillars have arrows on them. The arrows will point to which pillar will disappear when you step on it. Follow this path: (if they are having trouble jumping, try using Shift + J). When you get into the pillar room turn east and jump on the first pillar.
Jump on the next pillar to the east.
Turn north and jump two times.
Turn west and jump.
Turn north and jump two times.
Turn east and jump three times.
Now turn south and jump twice (exit).

How do I get through the second vault door in the Scintillus Academy?

Go to the door and turn right. Use telekinesis to trigger the switch. The door will open.

Where are the vault goodies!?

There is a hidden wall (refer to map item 31). Walk through this wall and collect the treasure. Walk through the other hidden wall to the west. Look on the ground and a secret floor will open up revealing lots of magical runestones!

Where can I find the rock axe?

There are several. There are three in Lord British's armory. And another in the Ice Caves level 1 (Map item 17).

Where are Trystero's Bones in Praecor Loth's Tomb?

They are by the Blackrock Gem and the Jeweled Axe (7) on level 1.

Where is the Horn?

Praecor Loth will give it to you. You must convince him that he is dead.
