Welcome! You've just landed smack dab in the middle of a heapin' helpin' of Texas sized Technical Support.

Accent aside, you are now in our Sound Card Help Pages. This is a site which will be continually updated on how to get your particular sound card to work with our games. What this entails is giving you the various CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT lines necessary to ge the game running. It also will provide some basic technical specifications for your card so you'll know exactly what it can do. In the future we will provide more elaborate DirectX compatibility information that should help you out with the latest games that we release.

If you have any problems understanding the layout of these pages, there should be a title on the top right that says "How to use these Sound Pages" that will take you to an explanation of what each of the sections means.

If you need to contact your sound card manufacturer, there should be a title on the top left of the page that says "Take me to the Sound Links Page" which will take you to all the links we currently have!

This page only asks one thing of you: You have to know what your sound card is in order to really get any valuable use out of it. Once you know what your sound card is, just select it from the drop-down list above (or the text menu if your browser is Java impaired)

"How in the name of all that's Good do I find that out?" you might ask.

Well, there are a couple of ways. If do not have Windows 95, you may want to hunt down your invoice of what's in your system, or any sound card manuals that came with your computer. If you do have Win 95, it is quite easy. Here are the steps:

1. Seek out the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop.

2. Click the Right mouse button on it to reveal a small menu.

3. The last option on this small menu should be Properties. Click the Left mouse button on that one time.

4. Next up, you should see a new dialogue box with a series of "tabs" at the top. Click the Left mouse button on Device Manager.

5. This should bring up a list of the hardware in your machine. Scroll down to Sound, Video and Game Controllers. 6. You see that [+] next to the listing? Click the Left mouse button on that.

7. The name of your sound card should roll out from that.

8. Now that you have that, click HERE to go back to the top and choose your sound card to begin.

That should be it! If you ever are unsure as to what a section is talking about, check out the help page.

Good Luck!
